What you’ll do:

  • An interest in broadcasting, news, and current affairs. 
  • Graduate level qualifications are not required for this role. If you are keen to develop a career in journalism, you will be required to have relevant graduate qualifications, but this is not a pre-requisite for applying for this position. Runners can progress into a variety of roles, many of which do not require a degree. 
  • Working effectively under pressure, reacting quickly, good decision making. 

 

What you’ll bring:

  • Strong English language and written skills.
  • Candidates need to be resourceful and reliable with good initiative, enthusiasm, creativity, and determination. You should be self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently – and demonstrate good people skills.
  • The role is shift based, which includes overnights, weekends, and bank holidays.

Osterley:

Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There’s also plenty of bike shelters and showers.

On campus, you’ll find 13 subsidised restaurants, cafes, and a Waitrose. You can keep in shape at our subsidised gym, catch the latest shows and movies at our cinema, get your car washed and even get pampered at our beauty salon.
