Our Ethos, Vision and Values
Unlocking every Student's potential through outstanding teaching and a Culture of High expectations
BOA Stage and Screen Production is committed to providing high-quality, distinctive post-16 education through a specialist curriculum in outstanding facilities.
We will combine the delivery of vocational qualifications for students wanting to pursue a career in film, TV and theatre focusing on the needs of the industry today and in the future.
Specialising in creative, technical, production, performance administrative and management courses for theatre, film, TV and online platforms we will provide a dynamic and personalised learning journey for each individual student.
We will seek to unlock each student’s potential, provide first-hand industry experience and enable them to excel in their chosen pathway. Through our outstanding teaching, state-of-the-art facilities, industry links and creative partnerships, we aim to embed the relevant skills and competences within a culture of high standards, dedication and a drive to succeed.
Our vision is to offer more than a purely academic curriculum. We are committed to providing our students with specific enrichment components alongside their vocational qualifications. All students will follow a vocational award and employability training with opportunities to also gain industry recognised qualifications
We aim to ensure that our students leave BOA Stage & Screen Production ready and able to work in the industry from day one. By studying stage and screen sectors throughout their time at the Academy, students will have a wide range of opportunities to find employment, apprenticeships or enter higher education. As well as using these transferable skills to enter broader areas of work, industry, training or higher education.
