This decision has been made in advance to give families as much notice as possible and to prioritise the safety of our students and staff. As many of our students travel a significant distance to attend the Academy, we feel it is important to reduce the risks associated with hazardous weather conditions and potential travel disruption.

Although the Academy will be closed, students will be expected to continue their learning from home. Appropriate work will be set for students to complete via Microsoft Teams, and staff will provide guidance to support remote learning where possible.
